Technology Incubator
The Technology Incubator, operated by the Ostrava Science and Technology Park, is a service offering support to companies with technology oriented and innovative products. As every business incubator, our service is focused predominately on starting businessmen, but also offering the chance to enter the incubator to already established companies coming with significant innovative project or product.
The support is implemented primarily in the form of reduced rents for quality office space on aour premises and providing backing of the starting project with the established trademark of Ostrava S&TP. Further support include specific services that are connected with the innovative entrepreneurship (intellectual property protection, EU funds financing, contact with universities, etc.) and consultancy toward business planning and development.
Objectives of the Technology Incubator include:
- initiating creation of technology and innovation oriented companies
- facilitation of start-up phase for entrepreneurs
- provide entrepreneurs with services oriented on the specific needs of their business' development
- attraction of new technologies into the region
- provide possibility for university students to implement their ideas already during their studies
- new qualified jobs creation
- economic effects for the region
- strengthening the cooperation of public and private sectors (university-industry)
